This is mainly based on the recipe at http://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2011/10/homebrewing-how-to-brew-american-black-ale-cascadian-dark-black-ipa-recipe.html. The homebrew store was out of the German Carafa II grain. I decided to just omit it instead of substituting since the grain bill seemed rather large to me anyway.

- Hops
- 1.0 oz Centennial @ 60 min
- 1.0 oz Centennial @ 30 min
- 1.0 oz Cascade @ 15 min
- 1.0 oz Cascade @ 5 min
- 2.0 oz Cascade Dry Hopped
- Yeast
- White Labs Liquid California Ale Yeast WLP001
This one turned out great. It was carbonated well. It had a great combination of hop aroma and bitter hop taste.
