- 16 oz can refried beans
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c sour cream
- 1 T taco seasoning
- 1 large jalepeno, diced
- 4 oz can diced mild green chilies, drained
- 2 green onions
- 3 c shredded cheddar cheese
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Thinly slice green onions and separate white and green portions.
- In medium bowl, combine cream cheese, refried beans, sour cream, and taco seasoning with a hand mixer until fluffy.
- Fold in white portion of green onions, jalapenos, chilies, and 2 c of cheddar cheese.
- Spread into 8×8 baking dish.
- Top with remaining 1 c shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake 20-25 minutes until hot and cheese is melted.
- Sprinkle remaining green onions on top as garnish.
Notes:
- Made 2024-05-04. It was good but didn’t have a ton of flavor. Maybe add salsa, chili, onions, more taco seasoning?
